Technological development of the industrial economy amidst digital transformation

Abstract:
The authors examine the trends of changing technological patterns, providing appropriate technical means of production. The general conceptual idea of technological modernization of management systems that allows increasing the share of industrial production automation is developed. Trends of technological development of business process management are identified; and certain advantages that can be obtained by the automated enterprise management system and the organization as a whole are noted. A list of recommended measures to ensure smooth operation under technical foreign constraints is formed. The directions of improvement of industrial company activity in the context of obtaining benefits from the improvement of business process automation, contributing to margin growth, cost reduction, productivity growth, and increased speed of adaptation to external changes are developed. The expected positive results of application of modernized technologies at industrial enterprises are determined.
